200 Level Writing Assessment

RATIONALE:  At FLCC we are always working to improve teaching and learning, to keep our courses and programs responsive to the changing needs of our students.  One of the ways we do this is by periodically looking at student work from across the College to help us get a realistic sense of the skills, abilities, and difficulties students are experiencing. For this assessment, we are looking at written work in specific 200-level courses to get a sense of our soon-to-be graduates’ progress as thinkers and communicators in their fields.
